The Eman Volcanic Rock Coast is located in Eman Town, Danzhou City. It was formed by the accumulation of materials from volcanic eruptions or ebursts 1 million years ago. It features natural tourist attractions such as the Five-Color Bay and Longmen Surging Waves and other natural attractions. Five-Color Bay: The bay is called Five-Color Bay because it is close to the cliff of Longmen Mountain, and the soil on the cliff has five colors: red, blue, green, black and purple. Longmen Surging Waves: To the east of Longmen Mountain, there is a Weng Gate, which is known as the "First Gate of the South". It is over 30 meters high and about 20 meters wide. National Intangible Cultural Heritage. The salt fields on the Yangpu Peninsula in Danzhou City, Hainan Province, cover an area of over 750 acres and are an important sea salt production area in the local area. There are more than 7,300 stone troughs of various sizes for salt production, some of which have existed for over a thousand years. The traditional salt production process used in Yangpu Salt Fields is the plate drying method, which has a history of over a thousand years. The process involves first submerging the sea water storage pool with the high tide to soak the silt and sand in the salt-making mud (salt field). After the tide goes out, the mud and sand that have been soaked in seawater are raked and exposed to the sun for two or three days. Once the mud and sand are dry, dry thatch is laid down and compacted and filled into the filter pool (salt mud pool) built up. Then, the water in the sea storage pool is poured into the filter pool to soak up the silt in the pool. The seawater gradually seeps to the bottom of the salt mud pool and flows through the stone cracks into the adjacent salt brine pool that is lower than the ground. The next morning, when the brine in the pool accumulated to a certain amount and settled and clarified, it was directly poured into the stone trough. After being exposed to the sun for most of the day, it would crystallize into salt in the afternoon. The Yangpu Salt Field is currently one of the well-preserved ancient salt fields in China. The traditional salt-making technique that has been passed down to this day here is a precious historical and cultural heritage left over from the development of China's salt-making industry.
